How the Program Works How is it Run?
The volunteers conducting the lectures range from;

How it works : 1. The program is modelled on the Tweed Heads Traffic Offenders Program and is directed by international best practice. Participants must bring their brochure to be signed each week and at the end of the 5 weeks, a completion certificate will be provided to present to the magistrate. 2. Upon pleading guilty, an application is made to the Magistrate, requesting permission to do the program – the matter is adjourned for FIVE (5) weeks to allow the offender to complete the Program. 3. During these five (5) weeks, the offender may be able to retain the use of his / her open licence if their BAC is under .15. 4. This program may also be relevant to provisional licence holders as well as open licence holders. Community Spin Off The program fee is paid by participants prior to the commencement of the course. EFTPOS is available at the hall and payment is accepted between 5.45 - 6:15 pm every Tuesday night. Account declined will mean no entry as cash is not accepted on the night. Credit cards will incur 1.5% bank fees. Alternatively, bring a money order from the Post Office made payable to GCTOP for $95.00 on your first night. All other enquiries Ph 0401 344 982 |
